Dental Implant Replacement Teeth
Dental Implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. Dental implants are changing the way people live. With them, people are rediscovering the comfort and confidence to eat, speak, laugh and enjoy life. Impacted Wisdom Teeth
Contrary to their name, wisdom teeth do not provide wisdom. Instead, they often cause dental problems in adolescents and adults. Most people simply don’t have enough room to accommodate the wisdom teeth or third molars. As a result, wisdom teeth often become embedded in gum or bone tissue, which causes pain and pressure. Infection can also occur, which often leads to damage the jawbone and adjacent teeth. In rare circumstances, wisdom teeth develop into cysts or tumors, requiring more extensive surgery. If wisdom teeth do erupt, they typically cause crowding and orthodontic relapse. Dr. Bhaskar recommends an evaluation of wisdom teeth during the teenage years to for ideal treatment timing and reduction of risk.
